Install the MyIPTV Player app from the Microsoft Store on your computer or on your Xbox. If you log into your Microsoft account on your computer and have the same account on your Xbox, you can install it from your computer so that the console automatically installs MyIPTV on your device.
Start the app and go right with your control to “Settings”
Type the address to the “m3u_plus playlist” that you received from your iptv provider. Click on the button below “Refresh channel list from remote source”.
Scroll down to “Epg website” and type the address to our epg (electronic program guide) http://epg.eternity.iptv.uno
Now all channels are loading, this can take a minute or two so please be patient.
Once the channels are loaded, you can see all channels listed. From the drop-down menu on the top left corner you can choose wich country you like to watch. Choose Sweden if desired and click on it, now you can see all swedish channels.
When you look at a channel and you miss subtitles, try uploading it.
Touch the control and click the bottom left.
There is subtitle selector available IF this channel offers subtitles at this moment.
We can not display subtitles on ALL channels right now but updates are ongoing. Different TV companies use different text formats and at the time of writing it is MAG IPTV boxes that can handle most options for subtitles.
Go back to look at “Settings” once again. You can do some changes here if you want. For example, choose your favourite country to watch and let the app start up with your favourite next time.
This tutorial aims to get you acquainted with how to use Plex to stream IPTV channels.
Plex is a Media Server program for general users and utilizing it doesn’t demand a high level of technical knowledge compared to its other competitors. Plex allows the users to stream media content from their home network to all compatible devices.
An overview of Plex
Plex appears as a media playback system that enables the users to simply share their movies, TV series, songs, photos, and fundamentally any multimedia content that they have in storage. It utilizes a server to host all your media contents and media players to stream the contents. By installing the Plex Media Server to a PC on your personal network and adding media contents to your libraries, the server will retrieve the information concerning the library. Once that’s completed, you can connect a player App (In Plex its called Client) to the PC in the living room, your mobile, tablets, etc. By connecting these devices to your home network the Apps will instantly identify the Server and display your media contents ready to be played and streamed.
Host your Media Contents in a Central Location
In order to use Plex and make it functional, you must establish the server on a PC somewhere in your house. Without establishing a server, the Apps won’t be capable to play any media contents. That process might appear a little bit complicated, however, the advantages it gives are enormous. In our personal experience, the first time when we load up the plex, it was extraordinary and exciting to use.
Combining an App to your Plex structure is easy. First, you must install the App, start it and see it as it discovers the Plex servers on the network. The server transmits the App details about your personal media library and its ready to watch. The excellent thing about this part is that, when the server is installed correctly and is up and running, you don’t need to take any extra steps. It actually needs a few seconds to get the App identify the contents and play them.
Holding all your contents stored by a central server indicates that you have a singular place to control your media content collection. You have the ability to add new movies, or simply edit the poster picture being used for your beloved TV series. Every feature of the server is controlled via the Plex Web App. It operates in a web browser from anywhere in your house, therefore you don’t have to be at a particular place to contrive your media library. When a modification is performed, it’s instantly available to all the Apps in your house without taking any further actions.
Keep Record of What You’ve Watched
The server retains track of what you have viewed, or are in the progress of watching. Each archive has a “watched” state sign that allows you to know that you have or haven’t watched the content. Additionally, if you stopped watching in a middle of a show, it recognizes where you left off and attempts to take up from where you stopped. This feature appears on any App, not just the one you started watching the content on in the first place.
How to bring IPTV channels using Plex
Step 1: Start by downloading the Notepad++ and Install it to move to the next step.
Step 3: After creating your account, go to the “Downloads” section and look for “Plex Media Server” and download it.
Step 4: After downloading and installing Plex, you can go ahead and launch it.
Step 5: Now you need the IPTV plugin for Plex. You can download the IPTV plugin for Plex by clicking here.
Step 6: After extracting the folder, you must paste the whole folder (IPTV.bundle-master) in this location: C: /users/”your computer username”/AppData/Local/Plex Media Server/Plug-ins
Step 7: After extracting the zip file, you will see a subfolder called contents, inside that folder, there is a file called info (.plist). Do a Right click on this file and select the option “edit with Notepad++”, you will notice this image:
Step 8: Now you must remove the bold section of the line: <!–<string>UseRealRTMP</string>–> and leave only <string>UseRealRTMP</string>, just like the below image:
Step 9: Enter the folder “Contents” and open “resources”. Here you must download your M3U playlist and replace it with the playlist file which already exists in this folder.
Step 10: Move back to the folder “IPTV.bundle-master” and rename it to “IPTV.bundle”
Step 11: The PC part is done for now. Turn on your Device, and search for PLEX and download it.
Step 12: After downloading and launching Plex, you need a code to sign in to your account which you can go to Plex and enter it.
Step 13: As the final step, open Plex in your computer and then in your PS4 in order to watch the channels that you added earlier.
*The Plex needs to be opened all the time on your computer before watching the channels on your device.
*Don’t forget to close and restart PLEX on both PC & Playstation after updating the playlist.m3u inside the resources folder.
*The channels are also available to stream on your phones & tablets through the Plex app on your PC.
In the past, KODI was called XBMC and some of the KODI codes come from XBMC2008. Plex a part of KODI which is more user-friendly but is not an open source app. Plex provider have managed strict controls over their products and therefore it is not possible to install Pirated material on Plex.
One of the attractive features of Plex is that users can set up a main server such as your PC or laptop, and share the contents on various devices like Smart Phones, Tablets, Smart TVs and other streaming devices like Roku, Firestick and so forth. However, difficult and demanding customization would be a disadvantage of Plex.
Generally, this depends on the coding format of streaming. While there exist various coding formats which assure the best image quality along with high level of compression such as H264, other formats would compress the streaming at a lower rate. Accordingly, different formats demand a different minimum amount of bandwidth. Roughly, the minimum bandwidth which is needed for streaming is 25 Mbps for SD channels and 30 Mbit for HD ones.
Average required bandwidth
- 25 Megabits per second – Recommended for SD quality.
- 30 Megabits per second – Recommended for HD quality.
- 50 Megabits per second – Recommended for Ultra HD quality.
Streaming is a term that stands for watching a video or listening to audio in real time, instead of downloading a media file. This service needs a proper Internet bandwidth which varies according to the level of quality. For instance, the minimum bandwidth requirement of watching a video on Youtube with high quality is quite more than that video with low-level quality. As another illustration, watching a low-quality video on Youtube for PC (400×226 pixels) demands more Internet speed than the same video for smartphones (320×240 pixels) because PC have larger screens.
How to add IPTV channels to Enigma2 using Xtream-Editor plugin
Preparation of Enigma2 Box:
- Set the correct time
- Activate multi-bouquet. Should be found under Settings. For most distributions, this option is already set.
- Activate Parental Control and enter a PIN. The code from the Xtream Editor can not be imported. You must specify this directly in the box.
Install Xtream Editor Plug-in (SSH Client):
- Connect to your box using an SSH or Telnet client like Putty.
- Run this command:
IPK OE1.6 – OE2.0 like OpenaATV, OpenPli, OpenVix,….
DEB OE2.5 like DreamOS, NewNigma2
Configure Xtream Editor Plug-in (Basic):
- Open the Xtream Editor plug-in
- You will see an APP code.
- Link your Line- or List-ID with this code. Go to the editor in one of your playlists and paste this code.
- Press YELLOW to load the configuration and the bouquets to the box. Then the plugin is now connected to your playlist.
- Press BLUE to get EPG.
Auto Import (enable, disable)
When this option is enabled, your bouquets and EPG are loaded daily at a certain time automatically.
When in deep standby (Wake up and import, Skip the import)
The automatic import can also be performed when the box is in standby. Choose “Wake up and import” there if you want. (Prerequisite Auto import)
Import bouquets every hour (enable, disable)
With this setting, the bouquets (without EPG) are loaded every hour. (Prerequisite Auto import)
Start import after booting up (enable, disable)
This setting is recommended when you turn off the box completely. Auto Import only works in standby.
Service Type (DVB (1), IPTV (4097), GSTREAMER (5001), EXTPLAYER (5002))
This setting allows you to choose which player E2 will use for your streams.
– DVB(1) default DVB player
– IPTV(4097) default IPTV player
– GSTREAMER (5001) For this you need an additional plugin (Serviceapp)
– EXTPLAYER (5002) For this you need an additional plugin (Serviceapp)
ID of the connected playlist in the editor
Import EPG (enable, disable)
Here you can determine if you want to load our EPG data
Import picon (enable, disable)
Here you can determine if you want to load our Picons
Here you determine where the picons should be stored
This is the time shift from UTC to the time zone of the provider server.
You will see when the last import took place and when the next import is configured
1. Export DVB-Channels
This sends all bouquets not created by the Xtream Editor to the editor. The editor creates new groups with the name of the bouquet and the app code. Example: Favorites – A1B2C3D4
You can then distribute the DVB-C, DVB-S and DVB-T channels in different groups. This allows you to insert DVB channels into the group of IPTV channels. After the next import, they will be sent back to the box.
2. Show log
If you have problems with the import, you might find the reason there. Is very important for our support.
3. Update plugin
When a new version of the plugin is released, you will receive a message after the import. You can then click MENU and select this option. The plugin will be updated automatically and the box will be restarted.
4. Import EPG
The EPG data is loaded
5. Import Bouquets
The bouquets (without EPG data) are loaded
6. Delete all IPTV & DVB Bouquets
This deletes all bouquets. Even those who did not create Xtream Editor. So handle it carefully.
7. Reset Config
The plugin is reset. New app code is generated. Then you need to connect the code to a playlist
8. Clear EPG
The EPG.dat and cache will be deleted.
After installing you will see an additional menu item “XE Catch-up” in the plug-in menu and extensions.
Start the plugin “XE Catchup” while the channel is running and support the catchup service. Catch-up support only works with API Lines
Channels with catch up service are now marked with an “[+]” in the channel list.
On your remote press Menu > setup >usage & gui > hotkey setup > press red key on your remote (the key is optional but i thought red button was best) > in plugins select xe catch up > press green button to save > exit right out to the channel Now you will find when you are watching a catch up channel if u press the red button it brings up the catch up list.
